201/202 - STUDIO CONDO WITH 608 SQUARE FEET

Our Studio Condo is a combination of Studio Suite 201 & the newly renovated (June 2020) Double Room Condo 202. The condos are connected by a privacy door which can be left open or completely closed.

Our 201/202 Studio condo is ideal for your family of four, two couples or even four individuals (both king beds can be converted to twin xl beds upon request). The studio condo has a fully equipped kitchen in 201 and a breakfast bar in 202 with great privacy between the two rooms.

Standard occupancy is 4.

→ 201 is a studio suite with 400 square feet, featuring a fully equipped kitchen (newly renovated in June 2020) with fridge, dishwasher, stove/oven, microwave, coffeemaker, toaster, blender, and crock-pot. The kitchen is well equipped with many pots and pans, an ideal place to fix a complete meal. The sleeping area offers a king bed (can be converted into 2 Twin XL beds), a modern electric fireplace, a flat screen TV and storage space for clothing. A small balcony with table and chairs offers a view of the base lift area, Al’s Run, as well as a view toward Wheeler Peak and the village center. The newly renovated bath (spring 2018) features a separate sink as well as a compartmented area for the tub/shower & toilet.

→ 202 is a newly renovated double room condo (June 2020) with 200 square feet, featuring a king bed (can be converted into 2 Twin XL beds) as well as storage space for clothing. Our double room includes a breakfast bar area with meal prepping option, fridge, microwave convection oven, toaster, coffee maker, electric kettle, and dishes. There is a charming bay window with a table and 2 chairs, offering a view toward Wheeler Peak and the base lift area. The bath features a separate sink as well as a compartmented area for the shower & toilet.

The Powderhorn is located just 350 feet from Taos Ski Valley base village.

Parking is only available in the general parking lot of the resort, a two minute walk to/from the Powderhorn. PHVR guests receive an electronic parking pass which must be displayed on the vehicle’s dashboard. During check-in/check-out, guests may use the Powderhorn carport for 15 min. maximum.

“We planned a last minute ski trip to Taos and felt lucky to have found this place. We loved the location of this home and that there were ski lockers on the bottom floor (separate entrance into the complex). It had everything we needed (cute little kitchen) and was clean and warm. It was also conveniently located next to Le Ski Mastery (you get a discount when staying at Powderhorn) so it made the rental process so easy too.”

We stayed in 201/202 with our teenage son and it was the perfect set up for us. He had his privacy and we had ours. Everything was within walking distance and the views were amazing.
PHVR couldn't be more accommodating and the compact kitchen had everything from coffee & an electric tea kettle to salt & pepper. All we needed were a few necessities and we were set.
Our room even had an electric fire place!
