Our newly renovated Studio Condo is a combination of Studio Suite 201 & Double Room Condo 202. The condos are connected by a privacy door which can be left open or completely closed. Please specify when booking.
Our 201/202 condo is ideal for your family or for 2 couples. The studio condo has a fully equipped kitchen in 201 and a kitchenette in 202 with great privacy between the two rooms.
Standard occupancy is 4 plus 1 more person on twin sleeper chair.
→ 201 is a studio suite with 400 square feet, featuring a fully equipped kitchen with fridge, dishwasher, stove/oven, microwave, coffeemaker, toaster, blender, and crock-pot. The kitchen is well equipped with many pots and pans, an ideal place to fix a complete meal. The sleeping area offers a king bed, a modern electric fireplace, a 43" LED 4K Smart Tizen TV and storage space for clothing. A small balcony with table and chairs offers a view of the base lift area, Al’s Run, as well as a view toward Wheeler Peak and the village center. The newly renovated bath features a separate sink as well as a compartmented area for the tub/shower & toilet. Cozy up on the cushioned chair. Feeling sleepy? Just unravel the multi-functional convertible chair and you have yourself a bed for a fifth person (ideal for children/teenagers or a young adult).
→ 202 is a modern double room condo with 200 square feet, featuring a king bed, a small kitchenette with fridge, microwave convection oven, toaster, coffee maker, electric kettle, and dishes. There is a charming bay window with a table and 2 chairs offering a view toward Wheeler Peak and the base lift area. The bath features a separate sink as well as a compartmented area for the shower & toilet.

Our charming mountain apartment inside the Powderhorn building is located just 350 feet to the Taos Ski Valley base village with restaurants, shops, ice rink and main lifts.
Parking is available in the general parking lot of the resort, a two minute walk to/from the Powderhorn. PHVR guests receive an electronic parking pass which must be displayed on the vehicle’s dashboard. During check-in/check-out, guests may use the Powderhorn carport for 15 min. maximum.

Bookings cancelled at least 30 days before the start of stay will receive 100% refund. A cancellation service fee of $20 will be charged.
Bookings cancelled at least 14 days before the start of stay will receive a 50% refund. A cancellation service fee of $20 will be charged.
Bookings cancelled 14 days or less before the start of stay will not receive a refund.
Deposit Policy
50% deposit at time of booking, balance due 30 days prior to arrival.
A reservation is not guaranteed until confirmed by Powderhorn Vacation Rentals.
The minimum age to make a reservation is 21 with a valid credit card.
At least one person at check-in must be at least 21 years of age.

“We planned a last minute ski trip to Taos and felt lucky to have found this place. We loved the location of this home and that there were ski lockers on the bottom floor (separate entrance into the complex). It had everything we needed (cute little kitchen) and was clean and warm. It was also conveniently located next to Le Ski Mastery (you get a discount when staying at Powderhorn) so it made the rental process so easy too.”

We stayed in 201/202 with our teenage son and it was the perfect set up for us. He had his privacy and we had ours. Everything was within walking distance and the views were amazing.
PHVR couldn't be more accommodating and the compact kitchen had everything from coffee & an electric tea kettle to salt & pepper. All we needed were a few necessities and we were set.
Our room even had an electric fire place!
